1967 "One Lap" Camaro

Jim Shipka of Alberta, Canada, always dreamed of building the ultimate muscle car. When the “pro-touring” movement hit full stride (equipping classic American muscle with modern performance parts) Jim decided to build a car for the Motor Trend “One Lap of America” cross-country road race. Features include Lateral Dynamics three-link suspension, AP Racing brakes, a Katech “street attack” LS7 engine that produces over 600 horsepower and a digital GPS integrated dash from Racepack. Shipka and his crew chief/driving partner David Pozzi won their class in the car at the 2010 One Lap of America race.

The “One Lap” Camaro’s wheels are custom forged HRE C20 Comp Series measuring 18×9″ with Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires measuring 275/35R18 in front, and 18×12″ with 335/30R18 Pilot Sports in back.
