2010 Camaro: PlanetLSX.com Project Car

The 5th Generation Camaro has become an increasingly popular vehicle to modify, thanks to independent suspension, big Brembo brakes, and a solid chassis. The 426 horsepower all-alloy V8 packs a pretty serious punch, and with a few bolt-on modifications it can reach super car levels of performance. This particular Camaro SS was a project car built by our friends at PlanetLSX.com, and is outfitted with an extensive list of mods that include:

  • Magnacharger TVS2300 Supercharger
  • ADM Cold Air Intake
  • KW V3 coilovers that provide a 3″ drop
  • Full BMR suspension, including subframes, front and rear swaybars, and trailing arms
  • MGW Shifter

Custom forged HRE 565R wheels measuring 20×9.5″ in front and 20×11″ in back with a brushed finish really set the car off and give it a smooth, clean look. After a custom tune and pulley install by LMR, the Camaro produced 492 horsepower at the wheels and still managed to get 24 mpg on the Hot Rod power tour. Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds?
