Alan Peltier, Chief Operating Officer of HRE Performance Wheels, takes StreetFire for a tour of the HRE facility in Vista, California and explains how HRE takes a wheel concept into a finished product. Alan explains the step-by-step process to machining, finishing and assembling custom forged wheels. In addition, Alan talks about the differences between castings and forgings and discusses the significant importance of using high quality components when assembling a multi-piece wheel.
