J-TACS Unveils Style J Concept with HRE FlowForm

August 27th, 2013

Taking a base model Scion FR-S, the in-house design branch at the Toyota Corporation, J-TACS, created a concept car that encompasses an edgier styling approach along with a luxurious interior.

Sporting satin body paint and HRE FlowForm, our latest cast flow formed wheel, the Style J concept attracted much attention, from celebrities to GT86/AE86/BRZ/FR-S fans, at the official unveiling during the Dorikin Street AE86 event at Fuji Speedway.

From the fascia, the changes are slight yet outstanding – the grille, headlights and lower diffuser are all more prominently displayed. The interior has been spruced up to feature stitching on the seats and door panels along with some other creature comforts you don't normally find in a Toyota GT86, Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ.

J-TACS itself is well-known within the Scion community, having a key hand in the developmental aesthetics of key models such as the tC RS8 and RS7.

We are curious to know if this concept vehicle will be at the SEMA show later this year…stay tuned!
