Things are changing quickly as we all know. Schools in the San Diego area are now closing. This is affecting a lot of the parents at HRE who need to make accommodation for their children. For this reason as well as the need to minimize the health risk to our team and their families, and to ensure we are doing our part to slow the spread of COVID-19, I have instructed all personnel that are able to work from home to do so beginning Monday, March 16th.
This means that the majority of our sales staff will be working from home. If you already know your sales representative’s cell phone number or email, please contact them there. When calling the main phone line starting March 16th, please press 1 for a sales directory which will forward to their cell phones. You can also use the Chat Function or Contact Form on our website. We will respond to you as quickly as possible.
For now, production will continue with reduced staff and additional cleaning/disinfecting measures to minimize any potential risk. Our accounting, customer service/repair, and shipping/receiving departments will continue to operate as well, but with limited hours onsite. The engineering and marketing departments will be working from home. We are going to do everything possible to minimize disruption to our customers but please bear with us if we begin to experience delays.
I also ask that if you are intending to visit HRE, please postpone your visit until a later date when we have enough staff onsite to properly accommodate visitors. If you have an urgent business and need to meet with us, please coordinate via phone/email as needed to ensure we are prepared for a visit.
We are closely monitoring the situation and additional measures may be implemented as we continue to prioritize the health and safety of our team and community. Hopefully, things will return to normal quickly if we all do our part.
